Francisco has experience in the merger and acquisition of public and private companies, purchase and sale of assets, joint ventures, corporate restructures and in the financing for the set-up of energy and infrastructure projects.

On infrastructure projects, Francisco was key member of the team that advised the consortium led by Grupo Omega in the bidding process, financing and subcontracting of the Chicoasén II hydroelectric power plant.

Additionally, Francisco was key member of CIE’s external counsel team in the negotiations with Formula One World Championship Limited and the Federal Government to bring back the Formula One FIA World Championship to Mexico starting on 2015.

Francisco has experience in the regulatory arena, especially on financial matters. He recently was part of the advisory team regarding the authorization process for the organization of a mutual fund manager and the acquisition of a broker/dealer.

Before joining the firm, Francisco worked with a preeminent New York law firm in Mexico City.
